Component Tests Overview

What are Component Tests?

The component tests are divided into two separate scripts that test both server and mailer components. You will be able to determine specific components installed on your host's server as well as seeing a list of available components. If you are not sure whether an e-mail component is setup or functioning properly, the test will notify you also.

ASP Component Test

Test your server against a list of 300+ popular components. To help you search, each component listed will include a link to the manufacturer's website for documentation and usage. A pop-up window will give you information about a specific component, if already installed.

Advanced Mailer Component Test

If a mailer component is not sending an e-mail, use the mailer test to troubleshoot the settings for the most popular components. Any errors encountered will be sent to your browser with links to our knowledge base so you can quickly resolve a problem.

Ability to Program Additional Components

With the ability to program in additional components, you can check for any specific one you would like to see.
